Hwang Jang Lee, One of Kung Fu's Deadliest Bad Guys.
Hwang Jang Lee I would have to say is one of the Kung Fu Movies baddest villains. You just knew when he appeared in a movie, that whoever the star was more than likely would need to practice a little harder or find a Master in order to win against Jang Lee.
Lee was born in Japan in Dec 21, 1944. He moved with his parents to Korea after World War II.
Lee studied and is currently a Grandmaster of Taekwondo. He's best known for his roles in "Snake in the Eagles Shadow" and
"Drunken Master"
starring
Jackie Chan
.
He's known in his movies as Silverfox because he usually wears the white long hair and beard. He displays one of the greatest kicking styles because of his Taekwondo experience. He also goes by the name Thunderfoot.
Lee has a long list of movies. Some of my favorites are "The Invincible Armour", "Snake in the Eagles Shadow", " Drunken Master" and
"Hell's Wind Staff"
. He has a number of films dating from 1974 till 1996 when he retired from making movies.
I'm a big fan of Lee. To me he's one villain you love to see fight even if you are rooting for the star.
I'm always interested in the opinions of other Kung Fu movie fans. So if this actor / martial artist is or isn't on your "Best Kung Fu Legend" list I want to know.
