Sammo Hung from a Fan Perspective, More than a Fat Dragon.

The first time I saw Sammo Hung was in the movie "Enter the Dragon" .

During the opening fight scene I remember saying to myself, who is this fat dude suppose to be?

Well by the end of the fight scene he definitely left an impression on me whoever he was.

As I got older and watched other Kung Fu films I came across another movie by which he starred in called the "The Magnificent Butcher"

I was impressed with it. I liked Hung's acting in the movie, I loved the choreography which Sammo did himself and the storyline was cool as well as being really funny.

Sammo is a bigger version of Jackie Chan but funnier.

What I love about Sammo is that, although he may be on the heavy side, he's very agile and coordinated as well as being very fast.

I'm still learning more about Sammo's film career. He's made just as many movies as his old shcoolmate Jackie Chan both acting, directing and choreographing in them. But unlike Jackie he never made it as big in Hollywood.

I say Sammo is fourth biggest Kung Fu Legend because of the wide range of work he's done with movies like "The Prodigal Son", "The Magificent Butcher", "Shaolin Plot" , "Knockabout", "Meals on Wheels", "My Lucky Stars", "Project A" and so many, many more.

Including having his Hollywood TV show 'Martial Law'. And his recent Huge successes "Ip Man" , "Ip Man 2", and "Ip Man 3" Where he proves to the world he has still got it.

Sammo seems to want to really make Kung Fu movies legendary and stand the test of time. And I believe he can do it.
