Chocolate (2008)

by Erik
(South Africa)

Its a Thai movie I think, about an autistic girl (Zen). Her father is Yakuza and mother is part of a local gang, so they are forbidden from seeing each other by her mom's gang, and her father goes back to Japan. Zen grows up next to a Muay Thai school and is a big fan of Tony Jaa. Through observation and solitary practice she learns insane fighting skills, and has great reflexes. Her caretaker, a boy named Moom and Zen demonstrate her skills publicly for spending money. When Zen's mom becomes terminally ill, Moom and her find her mom's book from back in her gangster days containing debtors' details. Moom and Zen go debt collecting for medicine money and she kicks some serious ass, her mom's old boss hears about this though and takes action against Zen and her mom, which opens the floor for one of the the sickest fight scenes ever where Zen chases after her mom's old boss up the outside of a building kicking goons off as she goes.

P.S. Movie is also known as "Fury"
