1. Master of the flying guilitine -- Amazing kung fu iconogrphy and sound. Superb electric sound tracka nd great special effects.

2. Ibvincible Armor --superkicker John Liu in his best role ever. Great villians, great story, just a great kung fu film. Maybe my favorite of all time, with an amazing nut-crushing death for Hwang Jang Lee.

3. House of Flying Daggers -- Deserves to be on any kung fu list for the way it, Hero, and Crouching relit the fuse of the kung fu genra.

4. Iron Monkey -- Amazing kung fu epic with Donnie Yen. One of the best looking kung fu epics ever.

5. Shaolin Soccer --Stephen Chow reinvents the idea of Cantonese comedy with "Shaolin" and --

6. Kung Fu Hustle --Stephen Chow makes the best kung fu comedy in a decade with this film. Amazizng work of art with enough special effects and inside jokes to last akung fu lover a lifetime.

7. One Armed Swordsman --the earliest and best of all Shaw Brothers films, this epic masterpiece was so good, it caused the Shaw company to almost single-handedly destroy the kung fu genra forever by making 10,000 identical kung fu turds inside a studio they built for world domination. Let me make this clear -- the worst thing that ever happened to kung fu cinema was the Shaw Brothers, and their films, except for a few like 36 chambers and the One Armed Swordsman are a disgrace to real films world wide. An absolute waste of my time and theirs.

8. Mask of Death -- an almost unknown kung fu masterpiece that has some of the best kung fu in=conography I've ever seen. Only aweak plot keeps this from the kung fu hall of fame.
