Not sure of the title?

I remember it was like a race there were quite a few they all lined up and whoever finished won. All I remember is a part where they were going thru this town and there were a bunch of crazy people chasing them with pitch forks and stuff. and I also remember a part where they were climbing down a cliff on a rope and they were fighting against the side of the cliff. the main character was smaller sized white guy dressed in white I think karate outfit. I remember a big guy to I think he got stacked with the pitch fork?
