Just saw the part 1 of this epic, historical action. Directed by john woo, released in 2008, This movie is sick! Like Braveheart meets hero, it gets into martial arts in an army vs. army dynamic, rather than man vs. man, though it does have a lot of individual fighting in it. It has a lot of wide cgi shots like in lord of the rings(though it doesn't look like cgi),and a lot of martial formations and tactics that i have never seen before. It is long (part one was 2 1/2 hours) but it went by too quick. Can't wait to hit up part two
