"Chinese Super Ninja " Shaw Brothers Movies classic that holds its own
"Chinese Super Ninja " is another one of Chang Cheh classics that you can put in the same category as "Five Deadly Venom's", "2 Champions of Shaolin" and others that he directed out of the Shaw Brothers camp. The movie starts out with a duel between two martial clubs. Tsiau Chin Hau is the main character of the film. He's the youngest out of his clan but has the most potential to be a great fighter. His clan defeats the challenging clan only to be challenged again by Japanese Ninja called the 5 Elements. Once the 5 Elements arrive they quickly eliminate Tsiau Chin Hau clan with him being the only survivor. He escapes from being captured and under the guidance of teacher Yan Yong Fe studies Ninja style with 3 new cohorts. Wai Man is also in this film , he plays the leader of the 5 Elements. He plays a treacherous Japanese villain in this movie. Once mastering the Ninja style Tsiau Chin Hau sets out to take his revenge. "Chinese Super Ninja " is a good movie, the fight scenes are classic Shaw Brothers movies type stuff. The story line is good and there are a lot of good actors in this film. This is one of those films that everyone talks about, it's not one of my top ten classic films, but you have to have it in your collection.
